Arsene To Sell Fringe Players To Fund For Lemar.

Recent reports claimed that Arsenal are very confidence in signing Thomas Lemar from AS Monaco.

One big problem though. Monaco is asking for £80 million.

Arsenal have failed twice in their bid with £30 million and £40 million.

They just bought Lacazette for their club record fee and if they were to cough up another £80 million without selling any players, they could be in tight situation financially.

To add on, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez have not sign any new deals yet that could see their wages sky up high.

Thomas Lemar has been sensation for Monaco last season along side his teammate, Kylian Mbappe who is also a target for Arsenal previously but dropped their interest after high demands.

He can play at both side of the wings, score goals and assists. He scored 14 goals in 55 appearances for Monaco last season.

Although Monaco stand firm on their ground on not selling Lemar, Wenger is very confident that he could offer a satisfying price.

But £80 million is a lot and there are few players that have not been featured much for the club that Arsene are looking forward to cash in.

(Jack Wilshere)

Jack Wilshere

Returned from Bournemouth without completing his full loan spell due to injury and his future is uncertain and still trying to stay fit.

Sampdoria are reported to make a bid for the midfielder

(Lucas Perez)

Lucas Perez

Perez is wanted by his former club, Deportivo and the striker is left out of Arsenal pre-season tour to finalise a move away from the club.

(Wojciech Szczesny)

Wojciech Szczesny

The Polish goalkeeper was on loan to Roma last season and has mixed fortune. Also left out from squad for pre-season. Juventus are reported to be interested and planning to finalize the deal in coming weeks.

(Mathieu Debuchy)

An outcast we should say. He transferred from Newcastle United and had a decent starting spell in his Arsenal career. Due to injury, Bellerin steps up to the plate and the Frenchman has lost his rank tremendously ever since. Nice are said to be one of few French clubs that are interested to sign the full back.

Other possible departures could be Kieran Gibbs and Carl Jenkinson who have not contributed much to the team last season. Destination are unsure for now.
