Danilo achieved his ambitious dream to play for Guardiola.
Manchester City have completed their second full signing of the summer with Danilo making £27 million switch from Real Madrid.
To make things interesting, Guardiola is expected to add another full back option with Benjamin Mendy set to arrive from Monaco.
Which means, City will signed three full backs this summer transfer window after Kyle Walker signed last week from Spurs.
Couldn’t blame the manager though as Sagna, Zabaleta and Kolarov have all been released and transfer away respectively which leaves City have no specific right back player.
But, they are not just going to sign any sub par players just to fill the void and when Guardiola signs, he always make sure the quality he brings in to the club he manages.
Danilo is delighted to have signed for City after admitting that although there are a number of clubs are interested in him, City was always his first choice.
His admiration of Guardiola have become his ambition to be able to play under the manager one day and it’s happy to have finally come true.
Danilo could prove to be a pretty good signing for City.
Not only is he technically good, he can play on the left full back position also which gives Guardiola more option.
In experience wise, he has competed in the best tournament there is and have won the La Liga, Club World Cup and the Champions League two times while he is at Real Madrid.
The right back will be wearing the No.3 jersey which was announced in the City official Instagram account.
