Koscielny: There is an end to everything.
Arsenal’s Koscielny was given the nickname “Bosscielny” at London.
He was quick to track back, intelligent and strong although not the biggest center back in the world.
The defender endure a tough start in his Arsenal career after making silly mistakes and collect a few red cards due to his clumsiness.
Arsene Wenger backed him. And now, he is known as one of the best defenders in the world.
Manchester United striker Lukaku once said in an interview that Koscielny is the toughest defender he has ever faced because of his intelligence.
During his Arsenal career, the defender has earn the call up to play for France and has been playing consistently as the first choice centre back.
Ahead of France friendly against Germany and Wales, Koscielny have confirmed in pre-match conference that he will retire from international football after World Cup in Russia next year.
He played a big part in France’s 2014 World Cup (lost to Germany in QF) and Euro 2016 (lost to Portugal in Final).
The “Boss” will be 33 years old next year and feel that young players are coming up the rank and he believes the next generation are full of potential.
He has to be one of those senior players that young players look up as a good mentor, leader, footballer that sets a good path for next generations.
We hope the French international defender can keep bossing the defensive box and end his France career on a high note.
