Klopp’s Liverpool too strong for childish Gunners.
Arsenal looked like a Sunday league team against Liverpool last night.
With all the quality players they have, they couldn’t cause any problem to a Liverpool team without their best player Coutinho.
Comparison from both sets of players, Arsenal certainly do look to have the advantage with Alexis return on the starting lineup while Lacazette was replaced by Welbeck in the starting 11.
The Gunners bought Lacazette for club record fee and fans are awaiting for his partnership with Alexis Sanchez but he was kept in the bench.
What is Arsene Wenger thinking?
From the 1st minute till the end, Arsenal were a mess and not organized. No control, no possession, no pressure, no trackbacks.
Don’t mind being a top team in England, they don’t even look like a Premier League team with their performance last night.
Ramsey wasn’t even looking at the ball when Liverpool conjured up an attack to score the first goal.
Ozil was again very poor. Look as if he was walking most of the time. His passes did not threaten the opponents defense at all.
Bellerin, Monreal, Chamberlain was so poor at the back they were running circles everytime Liverpool comes up to attack.
Xhaka and Ramsey fails miserably in protecting their defense and got exposed everytime.
If it weren’t for Petr Cech, god knows how many more goals Liverpool could score.
Liverpool off to a great start and looks to score from the kick off and got what they wanted after Firmino heads home with no markers.
Liverpool quick attacks and lightning pace of Mane and Salah were causing so much trouble to the Gunners the entire game.
They could start a play from the back or counter attack and looks like scoring everytime.
Arsenal center midfields were very poor. They could not win the first headers and the second balls. They could not pass among each other.
They did not pressure Liverpool midfielders and let them run at them at will. The physical and speed of Liverpool players are too much too handle.
Liverpool second goal came from a counter attack. Mane was on the left edge of the area one on one against Rob Holding.
He cuts in to the inside and curls an exquisite ball into the far corner. All Holding did was standing in front him and let Mane run past him. No pressure at all.
Liverpool at this point were running past Arsenal players like there are stick dummies in training.
2 to nothing in the first half and Liverpool conflict even more serious humiliation in the second half.
Bellerin switched position from left to right in second half after linking poorly with Sanchez on the left in the first half.
The full back looks slow and sluggish. Not just him actually. Probably the whole team. Poor control and passes. Lose possession easily and did not track ball at all.
Liverpool score the third in a fantastic fashion.
Arsenal got a corner cleared by Liverpool defense who fell to the path of Bellerin the last man in the center circle.
The defender made a poor first touch and bounced off to Salah who nicks the ball pass Bellerin and with no more Arsenal players in the way, the Liverpool star player run over 60 yards on goal and slot it home.
Wonderful start to his Liverpool career so far definitely.
Already 3 goals up and Mane is replaced by Sturridge who did not take long to pile more humiliation to Gunners.
Arsenal also make a double substitution with Lacazette and Giroud coming on for Sanchez and Chamberlain.
Weird substitution as it doesn’t make sense for Wenger to make the decision only after being 3 goals down. How is his team suppose to change the game with little minutes to play?
Fourth goal was a catastrophe.
The Kop is again on the counter attack. Salah was surging on the left and is the only option to pass to on the pitch with Bellerin knowing the presence of the winger but instead of closing him down, he chose to create a distance between them.
When the ball fall to Salah, he has too much time and space to cross towards the far post to Sturridge to head home an easy goal.
Bellerin has been responsible for 2 goals his team conceded.
Sanchez was caught smirking in the bench after his team went 4-0 down and fans are wondering if he is really laughing at his own team. He was also accused of laughing in the 5-1 defeat to Bayern Munich last season at the Emirates…
Both Sanchez and Ozil is yet to sign any contract but after yesterday, they will probably not even thinking to sign.
The Chilean post a picture with no caption indicates a special cryptic message to fans. Thousands of comments including Arsenal fans are sad for him and claimed he deserves a better club.
Guess the Gunners fans will have no hard feeling if Sanchez were to leave. The transfer window is still open till 31st August and the striker will now probably thinking to leave even more after this.
Ozil too post a frustration message after the lost and vows to come back stronger after the international break.
Blame us, shout at us, criticize us, but I’m also very disappointed about today’s game ?. We wanted to achieve a positive result before the international break but we were simply not good enough during the 90 minutes and Liverpool deserved the win without a doubt. Usually I’m too angry to post on social media after such frustrating days like today, but I don’t want to let this match go uncommented before traveling to the DFB Team. Nevertheless… Gunners, I’m sorry – especially for the fans who travelled all the way up to Liverpool to see us fighting. But we will try everything to improve in the next game and bounce back from the disappointment we are all feeling at the moment ?? #LFCvAFC @arsenal
One thing for sure, Arsenal are having the same old problem.
Sanchez will surely think of last alternative during the international break to leave the club before the transfer window closes.
Thierry Henry, who is an Arsenal legend come pundit said he wanted to leave the stadium after watching his former team plays.
Gary Neville barge into Arsenal players claiming he would put all the players up on the transfer list after a disgraceful performance.
The Gunners are still far off from their rivals and are yet to play against Tottenham, City, United, Chelsea.
If they don’t win the big games, they can forget about getting back into Champions League, let alone challenging to win the league.
#WengerOut or #WengerIn now?
