Ronaldo lead Real Madrid to first league title in 5 years

Real Madrid’s record breaking scorer, Cristiano Ronaldo has been in fine form in recent weeks.

Ronaldo who has been criticized earlier this season for not scoring enough and wasting chances.

As the season goes, he just keeps adding on the goals and breaking few goalscoring records this season.

He just keeps getting better and more efficient every year despite his age.

Last night, he step up to the plate again when his team needed him the most to win the La Liga.

He took just 2 minutes to open the scoring after rounding of the goalkeeper before slotting the ball into the empty net.

The goal was his 40th goal of the season.

Madrid only need one point from the game to take the title off Barca’s hand.

Ronaldo and Benzema each score one to finish the game with a 2-0 scoreline.

Barcelona on the other side, win their final game 4-2 after being 2-0 down with Messi missed and scored a penalty during the game.

To be fair, Real Madrid is a better team than Barcelona this season. They have proven alot of times this season they can score and defend well in games.

They truly are deserved winners of the La Liga and with Ronaldo in hot form at the moment and Gareth Bale looking to return after injuries setback, Real Madrid is a force to be reckon with.

Real Madrid is looking to finish the season with a double trophy capture if they win their upcoming UEFA Champions League final against high profile Juventus in  Cardiff.

Juventus have already clinch their cup and league and is looking to win a treble this season.

The Champions League final will be an interesting match up especially since Ronaldo and Dani Alves will be playing on the same side of pitch.

Both players have long history during Dani Alves’s Barcelona days and the defender himself has been in fine form in recent weeks too.

It will be a close competition and we can only hope for an entertaining match to finish of the 2016/2017 season with a bang.
