Sam Allardyce stuns Palace as he resigns as their manager

Sam Allardyce has done the impossible when he signs for Crystal Palace as their manager in December 2016. The team was sitting on 17th place and end the season on 14th place.

After he was sacked as the England manager last year due to scandal, he needs the Palace job to prove that he still have what it takes to be a top manager.

Palace has spring into life ever since he has taken over and manage to take 3 points against Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool which proves to be very crucial for the relegation fight.

Transfer targets have been brought up in recent weeks to strengthen the team for next season so it is surely a shock for him to resign out of the blue.

When Allardyce was interviewed after the news about his resignation broke out, he gave his main reasons for quitting is due to he would like to spend more time with family and travel.

He admitted that it has been a tough road for him after the 2016 English Football Scandal which he got sacked as the England manager, after just one game in charge.

Mental stress is a sure thing after what have happened but he still proved that he could still fight with the big dogs.

His interview sounded like he is going to be out of the radar for some time and in no hurry to look for a new job as he says he is not “ambitious” in looking for a new job yet.

Hopefully we get to see Big Sam in the future as he is one of the great managers in the Premier League history and is admired for his passion and style of play.
