Totti last game in AS Roma

Tearful Totti says goodbye to AS Roma

Francesco Totti has played for AS Roma since 1992. That is 25 years of career in just one club

He has plenty of big offers to leave the club to join giant clubs like Real Madrid, Chelsea in the past, but he loves Rome too much to leave.

He scored 250 goals in 619 appearance for the Italian giant. He also scored 9 goals in 58 appearance for his country Italy.

He came on as a substitute for his last game for the club in 3-2 win over Genoa yesterday night.

Display card and statues of Totti are all over the stadium to say their goodbyes to their hero.

He could have won much more if he left the club when he was at the peak of his career.

But the player in his own words, said winning one league title with Roma is better than winning 10 with Real Madrid or Juventus.

Pure loyalty for you there!

There is only respect for him as a footballer for what he can do in the pitch. From scoring beautiful free kicks, chip over the keeper, thunderous shots, great passes, skills, control, you name it.

Totti can do everything he wants and has been a pleasure to watch.

Football has lost three legends this season in Totti, Alonso and Lahm.

In a few years time, we could lose Messi and Ronaldo and god knows who can achieve what these two players have done for the past decade for football.

Thank you Francesco Totti and good luck in your new adventure.
