Rooney could miss United US tour if Everton talks are good.
Manchester United are preparing for their upcoming US Tour and it is still not concrete enough whether Rooney will be included in the squad.
At the end of last season, Rooney said in an interview that he is more or less know where he is going to play when the new season comes and will only play for Everton and Manchester United in the Premier League.
The Merseyside club manager, Ronaldo Koeman has also publicly share his admiration for the United player.
The United record goalscorer was on holiday recently with his wife Coleen Rooney and sparks rumors that he may still be a United player after featuring in the new home kit launch.
Although Rooney could still fight for his place, a dream sensational return would be wonderful for him as he could get more playing time to fight for his place in England World Cup squad next summer.
A source claims that Rooney is indeed in talks with Everton but his huge wage could be the obstacle. He is currently earning around £250,000 a week in United and it could just be too much for Everton to cover the cost for an over 30 years of age player.
The United captain is making sure he is fit for the new season after posting a picture in the gym after attending a cycling class. It looks like he has a lot of determination coming to the new season to prove a point to the doubters.
